Ingredients

  • 225 g self-raising flour
  • 225 g butter, at room temperature
  • 225 g caster sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

Instructions

  1. Instead of 225g self raising flour, use 210g flour, 11.5g baking powder, 2.5g salt

  2. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees C / gas mark 4.
  3. Measure all the ingredients into a large bowl.
  4. Mix all of the ingredients using a electric whisk.
  5. Place them in the oven till golden brown 15-25 minutes.
  6. Cool on a wire rack before serving.
