Put milk and sugar into a saucepan and heat to simmering point |

Melt the butter in a heavy sauce pan, add the rice and mix well to coat the grains |

Add a ladle full of the hot milk and stir well. |

Add the milk a little at a time, allowing it to be absorbed by the rice, stiring the mxture constantly. Cook ver a moderate heat, stirring frequently to prevent it from sticking. |

Remove from heat. Once it has cooled slightly, add the remaining ingredients (excet grated chocolate) and stir genty but thouroughly until mixed in. |

The rice should ne cooked but left a little al dente. Garnish with the chocolate (either for presentation or on individuak servings) |
