Sauce | |||
o | To make sauce, break the chocloate into small pieces and place in a heatproof bowl with syrup and butter. Place the bowl over a saucepan of hot water and heat until melted, stirring constantly, until well blended. Remove from heat and stir in the brandy or rum. | ||
Glass of ice cream | |||
o | Peel and slice the bananas. Place the cream in a large bowl and whip until just holding its shape. Place a scoop of ice cream in the bottom of 4 tall sundae dishes, then top with slices of banana, some sauce, a spoonful of cream and a generous sprinkling of nuts. | ||
o | Repeat the layers, finishing witha generous spoonful of cream, sprinkel with nuts and a little grated chocolate. |
